Spawned in the Byerly R&D Lab, Mr. Scott Byerly and shaper Scott “Butch” Bouchard set out to create a board that rides like a surfer but has enough skim characteristics to spin around in circles or boost big airs. Overall, the Byerly Action is a super fast, lightweight, and playful wakesurfer that is unlike anything currently in your quiver.

The Byerly Action is best suited for those wakesurfers who might not have one riding style and want a little bit of everything. It has a unique ability to bury into a big surfy turn one moment and start spinning 360’s just moments later. Scott Byerly likes to do it all when surfing behind the boat and Byerly Action is his weapon of choice.

Its minimal rockerline and dual concave base give this board serious speed down the line and quick acceleration for catching back up with the wave after spinning a 360 or doing an air. The squash tail design gives the board more of a skim look and feel, allowing it to be rode both regular and switch. The full EVA traction pad allows you to put down your landing gear anywhere on the board while still having lots of grip.

Shaped with an EPS foam core, the Action has the lightweight, responsive feel of a high-performance surfer. Wrapped in Hyperlite’s exclusive Dura-Shell construction, this board stays lightweight while having a level of durability not typically found in high-performance wakesurf boards. This board is designed to take a beating and keep riding. Equipped with a totally unique fve in skim style configuration, the Byerly Action is the most customizable wakesurfer in their lineup. Each wakesurfer can customize the fin configuration to exactly how they want it for their own individual riding style.
